I was so happy to get to photograph by Bestie and her sweet family while they were in town. They moved to New York one year ago, and I miss them terribly.  I was also super excited about the big announcement! Her son Nixon on the other hand isn't so stoked... ha ha. Theses photos are actually exactly what we were going for. Nixon did an awesome job being upset. But, we also had a ton of fun playing hide and seek in the tree lot. And he loved playing Hug Tag. It was the sweetest. Since Jade's family is here in Phoenix, they came along and all wore awesome Christmas Sweaters. Such a great session. Love how it turned out. So excited for Steve and Jade and their growing family. And I think Nixon will come around eventually! Now if I can only convince them to move back to the west coast!
